The one who had to stay. A good blend of our beloved Pippi and Sheriff. Named after the main character in Jack London’s “Call of the Wild” and the Swahili parade for “no worries”. Buck is a powerful and impressive male with a strong bone mass and elastic movements. He is the biggest Teddy Bear and goofball, enjoys a good back scrub, and does almost everything for food. He did his first Mentality assessment (MT) at the age of 11 months with an impressive result for such a young boy. He followed up with an excellent BPH (behavior and personality assessment in dogs) at 20 months of age. He is everything we could wish for.

HEALTH

Buck is a very healthy dog with no health concerns. He enjoys a variety of dog foods – both dry feed of all types of brands and RAW feed – and is used to receiving leftover human food. He has never experienced any skin infections or redness, and he does not have any ear issues that require regular cleaning. Overall, he has had very robust health so far.

Buck has been tested with the Embark for Breeders dog DNA test kit, which estimated her genetic Coefficient of Inbreeding (gCOI) to 16%. The average for the breed is estimated to be above 20%.
